De-dusting

Dust removal from production processes can be carried out either by an electrostatic precipitator, cyclone or dust filter.

Electrostatic precipitators require considerable electrical operating costs, are limited in their operating temperatures and their dust removal capacity.

Cyclones are limited in their cleaning performance compared to dust filters, which can lead to problems in the future with stricter limit values. The advantage of a cyclone, on the other hand, is that it is a purely static system with few electrical or moving components.

With a dust filter, either filter bags, filter hoses or filter cartridges are used to separate the dust. By using temperature-resistant materials, these systems can also remove dust from flue gases with high temperatures.
