Energy recovery

Clean gas/fresh air

If the clean gas still contains sufficient energy, fresh air, for example, can be heated in a heat exchanger, which can then be fed into a process.

Tube bundles are used for transfer, among other things. One of the flows, e.g. clean gas, is fed through the tubes while the fresh air is routed around the tubes, or vice versa.

Depending on the application, these heat exchangers are designed as smooth tubes or finned tubes. This depends primarily on the dust content that is still present in the clean gas. The heat exchangers are equipped with cleaning openings or, in some cases, are designed as a retractable register.

If the application involves condensation, the heat exchanger can also be made of plastic.
