Catalytic oxidation KNV / CT

The flue gas from the process flows into a flue gas preheater, where it is heated by the clean gas in a cross counter-flow. The flue gas is then heated to the required catalyst inlet temperature by means of a burner or electrical heating.

The hydrocarbons are converted in the catalytic converter before they can be cooled and fed to the chimney via the flue gas preheater.
The necessary fan can be installed before or after the cleaning system.

If there is sufficient residual thermal energy in the clean gas, secondary heat recovery can ensure further savings in operating costs.
