The basic structure of the dust filter is similar to that of the pure dust filter.

Different reagents are available for cleaning acidic components, which are selected according to temperature, pollutant and humidity.

Two silos are usually available for storing the reagent and for disposal, one of which is filled with fresh material and the other with waste material. To simplify logistics, the size of the fresh material silo is designed to be filled by one or more silo vehicles.

The waste silo can be positioned on a separate steel structure so that the silo truck can be filled.

For better distribution and absorption capacity, some of the waste material is added to the fresh material via a recirculation line, which ultimately benefits the consumption of fresh material.

A further reduction in fresh material consumption is achieved by increasing the moisture in the reagent.

If the raw gas contains other pollutants, these can be neutralized by adding activated carbon, for example.
