Fluorine cascade filter (SFS/DLA)
The cascade filter consists of 3 sections. At the top is the storage area, below that the reaction area with the cascades and below that the discharge area with the discharge element.
The system consists of 1 or more cascades arranged vertically next to each other, through which the granular reagent is conveyed from top to bottom through the cascade. The bed moves according to the flow rate of the discharge element.
Downstream, the system can be installed with a peeling drum to reduce granulate consumption. The peeled material (waste material) must either be disposed of or, if possible, ground and fed back into production.
The pollutants removed by the system are hydrogen fluoride (HF), hydrogen chloride (HCl) and sulphur oxides (SO2, SO3). Whether this system can be used as a waste gas cleaning system after a production process depends on the concentration of hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen chloride, which must not be too high.
