Steam

Steam generators can be used at even higher clean gas temperatures - if usable.

The generated steam heats production lines or generates electrical power.

At high clean gas temperatures, steam pressures of 20 bar can be generated.

Steam generators are usually of the classic flue gas boiler design with tubes, in which the hot clean gas is fed through pipes into a boiler filled with water. The heat is transferred to the water there and leads to vaporization.

Whether an economizer is installed downstream of the boiler on the air side to preheat the feed water depends on the operating conditions.
